Spring Flower Walk at Taconic SP

Saturday, April 25, 2015 - 13:00 to 15:00

Please join us for an exploration of the spring flora and associated insect life along a new, but easy trail in the Taconic State Park, starting from the Iron Works and following Bash Bish Brook. The walk is guided by ecologists Conrad and Claudia Vispo from the Hawthorne Valley Farmscape Ecology Program, co-sponsored by the Friends of Taconic State Park, and appropriate for families with children of all ages. Participation is free, but please register with Claudia Vispo (claudia@hawthornevalleyfarm.org or 672-7994) to reserve your space, as the number of participants will be limited to avoid trampling of delicate flowers.
