Join ecologists Conrad and Claudia Vispo of the Hawthorne Valley Farmscape Ecology Program, our host, Dale McDonald, and her landscaper ("garden angel"), Robin Zitter, for an exploration of the plants and insects in the organically established and managed wildflower meadows of Pom's Cabin Farm in Falls Village, CT. Experience the early summer beauty of the meadows and their inhabitants, and learn what it takes to establish and maintain them. The event is free, but we gratefully accept donations towards FEP’s efforts to create and maintain more on-farm habitat for beneficial insects at Hawthorne Valley Farm.
