Are you interested in getting into the fantastic world of fungi? We have another mushroom walk in store this month. This time we'll be headed to Nutten Hook in Stuyvesant, NY. The walk won’t be centered around foraging or the uses of mushrooms (or collecting), but will explore the different life histories and physiologies there are, what to look for when identifying them, and which of them are often found in our landscape. This location is somewhat tentative if we find that during the scouting, the mushrooms remain elusive or that the weather hasn’t made for good fruiting conditions.
