Join Conrad and Claudia Vispo of the Hawthorne Valley Farmscape Ecology Program for the first of a series of monthly Winter Botany Walks. This walk will begin with an in-door session to help you delve deeper into the mysteries of identifying woody plants and weeds in winter. We’ll then explore Hawthorne Valley Farm’s Schnackenberg Road property to practice the newly learned skills.
This walk is free, all ages and levels of knowledge are welcome, but participant numbers are limited. Please register with Claudia fep@hawthornevalleyfarm.org or 518-672-7994 to reserve your space and receive directions. We encourage you to register for at least three of the Winter Botany Walks and will give preference to participants who do so.
