Book Talk and Discussion with Jerry Jenkins

Botanist and ecologist Jerry Jenkins, of the Northern Forest Atlas, will be visiting next week and sharing his new “Field Guide to the Woody Plants of the Northern Forest.” This new book is a richly illustrated guide with information on not only identification, but also the geography and ecology of 272 woody plants in the northeast. Next Wednesday, 6 pm, Jerry will be giving a presentation about the new book, why including ecology in these guides is so important, and much more!
