In addition to our free public ecology walks, we offer customized ecology walks on a piece of land and with participants of the customer’s choice. If you are interested in seeing your own land or your favorite public area through the eyes of experienced naturalists, we are available to walk the land with you and to share what we see at the moment: common and uncommon plants and animals (see species inventories for a listing of our taxonomic expertise), including details about their natural history and lore, ecological communities seen in a regional context, and an interpretation of land use history as it can be inferred from plant communities, human artifacts, and “forest forensics”.
